Prism Optical Diamond
INFI
We supply optical-grade CVD single crystal diamond for prisms and other transmission optics. Over the years, similar blanks have gone into laser output windows, spectrometer components, and endoscope optics – anywhere you need broadband transmission and a material that won't drift or scratch under real use.
Before quotation, our engineering team typically reviews:
Your operating temperature range – we have blanks running from -200°C to 850°C, but the mounting interface changes at extremes
Signal-to-noise requirements – compared to sapphire, diamond can improve SNR by about 40 dB in some setups, but we check your actual wavelength band first
Whether you need the full 50% size reduction – that number comes from real retrofits, not a catalog claim. We can walk you through the last two similar projects.
What we actually hear from customers who have used CVD diamond:
"We switched from sapphire because of scatter at IR wavelengths."
"We needed a prism that survives in a high-power laser cavity without coating failure."
We do not stock every thickness. We cut and polish from grown plates. Send a drawing – even a hand sketch with dimensions and wedge angle – and we will reply with whether we can hit your surface roughness and transmitted wavefront error.

FAQ:
1. Can you cut and polish the diamonds you grow?
Yes. We have our own laser cutting machines, polishing machines, and grinding machines running day and night, for both HPHT and CVD diamonds.
2. How long does delivery take?
For in-stock items, usually within 5 working days. For customized products, typically within 15 working days, depending on complexity.
