Single crystal diamond CVD (chemical vapor deposition) refers to a type of diamond that is produced using the CVD process. In this process, a mixture of carbon-containing gases is decomposed under controlled conditions, resulting in the formation of a single crystal diamond layer on a substrate.

Single crystal diamond CVD is known for its exceptional hardness and thermal conductivity, which makes it useful for a range of industrial and scientific applications, such as cutting and grinding tools, heat spreaders, and optical components.

Compared to other forms of synthetic diamond, single crystal diamond CVD has a highly ordered crystal structure, which gives it improved physical and mechanical properties. This makes it a desirable material for a range of high-performance applications, where its hardness and thermal conductivity are important factors.

In summary, single crystal diamond CVD is a type of synthetic diamond that is produced using the CVD process and is characterized by its exceptional hardness and thermal conductivity. It has a wide range of applications in industries such as manufacturing, electronics, and optics.

HPHT Diamond: High Pressure High Temperature Lab-Grown Diamonds – Rough & Polished

HPHT Diamond: Nature’s Blueprint, Grown in the Lab
Our HPHT diamond products are grown using High Pressure High Temperature (HPHT) technology – the same process that creates diamonds deep within the Earth, but in a controlled laboratory environment. Using a cubic press with six anvils applying pressure from all directions, we replicate the extreme conditions that transform carbon into diamond.

How HPHT Diamonds Are Grown

The HPHT process begins with three essential components inside a specially designed growth cell:

  • A small diamond seed that serves as the foundation

  • Graphite as the carbon source

  • A metal catalyst (typically iron, nickel, or cobalt) that facilitates diamond formation

Under very high pressure and elevated temperature, the metal catalyst melts. The graphite dissolves into the molten metal, and carbon atoms migrate through the melt to the cooler diamond seed. There, they deposit layer by layer, growing a new diamond crystal around the original seed.

Once the growth phase is complete, the cell is cooled and opened. The rough diamond undergoes acid cleaning to remove residual graphite and metal catalyst particles. Finally, the crystals are sorted, screened, and – depending on your needs – can be cut and polished into finished gemstones.

Our HPHT Diamond Products

We offer HPHT diamond in various forms to meet different applications:

  • Rough HPHT Diamond Crystals: As-grown, uncut diamonds suitable for industrial applications or further processing

  • Polished HPHT Diamonds: Finished gemstones for jewelry – available in a range of carat weights, colors, and clarities

  • Custom HPHT Diamond Solutions: Specific sizes, shapes, or grades tailored to your requirements

Key Advantages of Our HPHT Diamonds

  • Same Properties as Natural Diamonds: Our HPHT diamonds possess the identical physical, chemical, and optical characteristics as mined diamonds – they are real diamonds, not simulants

  • Controlled Quality: Grown under precisely controlled conditions for consistent quality from batch to batch

  • Complete Traceability: Each diamond’s origin is known and documented

  • Versatile Applications: Suitable for both jewelry and industrial uses

  • Competitive Pricing: Lab-grown technology offers excellent value compared to natural diamonds

Applications

Our HPHT diamonds serve a wide range of industries:

Jewelry: Engagement rings, earrings, pendants, necklaces, and custom fine jewelry designs
Industrial Tools: Cutting tools, drilling bits, grinding wheels, and wear-resistant components
High-Tech Applications: Heat spreaders for electronics, optical components, and semiconductor research

Quality You Can Trust

Every HPHT diamond we supply undergoes careful screening and quality control. Whether you need rough crystals for industrial applications or polished stones for jewelry, we maintain consistent standards to ensure reliable performance and lasting beauty.

Choose the Right HPHT Diamond for Your Needs

From raw crystals to finished gems, we provide HPHT diamonds in the form you need. Contact us today to discuss your specific requirements – whether it’s a custom order for industrial use or a stunning stone for a special piece of jewelry.
