How HPHT Diamonds Are Grown
The HPHT process begins with three essential components inside a specially designed growth cell:
A small diamond seed that serves as the foundation
Graphite as the carbon source
A metal catalyst (typically iron, nickel, or cobalt) that facilitates diamond formation
Under very high pressure and elevated temperature, the metal catalyst melts. The graphite dissolves into the molten metal, and carbon atoms migrate through the melt to the cooler diamond seed. There, they deposit layer by layer, growing a new diamond crystal around the original seed.
Once the growth phase is complete, the cell is cooled and opened. The rough diamond undergoes acid cleaning to remove residual graphite and metal catalyst particles. Finally, the crystals are sorted, screened, and – depending on your needs – can be cut and polished into finished gemstones.
Our HPHT Diamond Products
We offer HPHT diamond in various forms to meet different applications:
Rough HPHT Diamond Crystals: As-grown, uncut diamonds suitable for industrial applications or further processing
Polished HPHT Diamonds: Finished gemstones for jewelry – available in a range of carat weights, colors, and clarities
Custom HPHT Diamond Solutions: Specific sizes, shapes, or grades tailored to your requirements
Key Advantages of Our HPHT Diamonds
Same Properties as Natural Diamonds: Our HPHT diamonds possess the identical physical, chemical, and optical characteristics as mined diamonds – they are real diamonds, not simulants
Controlled Quality: Grown under precisely controlled conditions for consistent quality from batch to batch
Complete Traceability: Each diamond’s origin is known and documented
Versatile Applications: Suitable for both jewelry and industrial uses
Competitive Pricing: Lab-grown technology offers excellent value compared to natural diamonds
Applications
Our HPHT diamonds serve a wide range of industries:
Jewelry: Engagement rings, earrings, pendants, necklaces, and custom fine jewelry designs
Industrial Tools: Cutting tools, drilling bits, grinding wheels, and wear-resistant components
High-Tech Applications: Heat spreaders for electronics, optical components, and semiconductor research
