Do you know how PDC is made and what its applications are?
PDC is a composite product firmly bonded under high temperature and high pressure, consisting of a layer of PCD and a layer of cemented carbide substrate. The hard and tough cemented carbide substrate greatly enhances the impact resistance of the PCD layer, preventing chipping. Meanwhile, it offers improved comprehensive performance, maintaining the wear resistance of PCD while possessing high toughness and weldability.
Its applications include but are not limited to: diamond wire drawing dies, PCD cutting tools, PDC drills, PCD saw blades, PCD chain saws, and more.
